Come February, there will be a fabulous array of crafty choices...Cigar Box Purses, Gift Card Mirrors, and Jewels for the Masses Classes.

Sue will teach beginners her specialized jewelry techniques just in time for Valentine's Day!  She will make her studio and metal working tools available to the students, as well as a fabulous array of gems, baubles and beads from which to choose...a 3 hour class for 6 people costs a mere $30 each; kits and materials extra.

Snacks and beverages appropriate for the age group will be provided. Party hearty while you're arty!

2009 Junkie Jewelry 101

Explore the world of recycled, upcycled and repurposed crafts!

When:   January 22nd from 6:30 til 8pm.

Where:  Havre de Grace Library (410-939-6700)

Why:     Join Sue Eyet, resident artist and owner of Studio 432, for an introduction to jewelry design with a      recycled art spin. Participants will create earrings and pendants from reclaimed plastic gift cards, game pieces and tiny fragments of everyday life. Students will be encouraged to think outside the box and bring new life to objects thought to have lost all value. 

Bring: Jewelry tools, tiny treasures of personal meaning (broken jewelry, buttons & game pieces, feathers, charms, etc.) and special beads. 

 2008... a very good year.

Classes at Studio 432 Trashy Women Classes

The Plastic Fantastic Trashy Women class was photographed by a Baltimore Sun reporter, so keep your eyes peeled for an article in the next few weeks...

 and the Trashy Women will be giving demonstrations at their upcoming Harford Countyexhibition at the Liriodendron Mansion: Plastic Fantastic will re-emerge with Maggie on September 14, and Sue's Gift Card Gizmos will take place on September 21. Free to the public, so come one, come all!
